These terms apply to every design made in our online curtain designer, every quotation, every home visit and every order for curtains, sheers, blinds, tracks, poles and fittings, whether placed on this website, on WhatsApp, by phone or in one of our showrooms. By placing an order you agree to them.
2. Quotations and prices
- Every price shown in the designer is an estimate based on the measurements you enter. It is calculated from our published rate card: fabric per metre, stitching per metre, rail per foot, fittings and fixing per foot.
- Prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees and include the making up and, where selected, delivery and installation. Any government taxes that apply are shown before you pay.
- A quotation, saved design or Design ID does not reserve fabric or a production slot. Rates can change, and the designer always shows the current price when a saved design is reopened.
- The fabric quantity is worked out from the curtain width (your window plus stacking space each side) multiplied by the heading's factor, divided into metres and rounded up to the next half metre. Blinds are priced on the measured area of the window.
3. Measurements and confirmation
- After you order, we contact you to confirm the measurements by phone, or we visit your home free of charge and measure ourselves.
- If the window measures differently from what you entered, we recalculate the price at the same rates. If the price goes down we refund the difference; if it goes up we agree the new amount with you before work starts. You may cancel at that point for a full refund.
- Where we have measured, we take responsibility for the measurement. Where you have asked us to work from your own measurements without a visit, the responsibility for those measurements is yours.
4. Placing an order and paying
- An order is placed when you complete checkout on this site, or confirm an order with us on WhatsApp, by phone or in a showroom.
- Payment can be made by card through our payment provider or by bank transfer. Bank transfer orders are confirmed when the payment reaches our account. Please use your order number as the reference.
- Card payments are processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
- We send you an order number and an order page that shows the stages of your order.
5. Making and lead times
- Production starts once measurements are confirmed and payment has been received.
- Typical lead time for a single-room order is one to two weeks from confirmation. Large orders, motorised tracks and special fabrics take longer. We give you a date when we confirm, and we tell you if it changes.
- Fabric is a natural product. Small variations in colour and texture between the photograph on screen, the sample and the finished curtain are normal and are not a defect. Screens also show colour differently from cloth, which is why we bring samples on a visit.
6. Delivery and installation
Delivery and installation are described in our Delivery & Installation policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: we deliver and fit island-wide, we confirm the date with you, and you provide clear access to the windows on the day.
7. Quality, faults and our guarantee
- We make every product to the specification you approved and fit it properly. If there is a fault in the making or the fitting, tell us within 7 days of installation and we will put it right at no cost.
- Tracks, poles and motors carry the manufacturer's guarantee, which we pass on to you. Normal wear, damage caused after installation, alterations by others, and fading from direct sun over time are not covered.
- Our responsibility is limited to repairing, remaking or refunding the product concerned.
8. Cancellations, returns and refunds
These are set out in our Cancellation, Returns & Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Saved designs, Design IDs and your order page
- Saved designs, Design IDs, visit requests and order pages are kept in your browser and, where we have a shop system connected, in our records. Anyone with your return link or order number can open the page, so please do not share them publicly.
- We may remove saved designs that have not been opened for more than 12 months.
10. Using the website
- The designer, photographs, fabric images, text and logo on this site belong to Luqmaan Curtain Gallery or our suppliers. You may use the designer to plan your own windows and share your design link with family or friends. You may not copy the images or catalogue for commercial use.
- The room previews are illustrations to help you choose. They are not a guarantee of the exact appearance of the finished curtain in your room.
- We may change these terms. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. If we cannot resolve a disagreement between us, the courts of Colombo have jurisdiction. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Sri Lankan consumer protection law.
