1. Where we deliver and fit
- We deliver and install island-wide from our Colombo and Kandy branches.
- Delivery and installation within Colombo and its suburbs is included in the fixing charge shown in your quotation. For addresses further away we confirm any travel charge with you before the visit, never afterwards.
- Delivery-only orders (without installation) are available. You can choose this at checkout.
2. How long it takes
- Most single-room orders are made and fitted within one to two weeks of your measurements being confirmed and payment received.
- Larger jobs, motorised tracks and special fabrics take longer. Your order page shows the stages: confirmed, measurements checked, in production, ready to install, completed.
- We contact you to agree the installation date and time. We confirm again the day before.
3. On the day of installation
- Please make sure someone over 18 is at home to let us in and to approve the finished work.
- Clear the area in front of the windows and move fragile items. Our fitters bring their own tools, ladders and cleaning up; we take the packaging away with us.
- Installation includes fixing the track or pole, hanging the curtains or blinds and dressing them into their folds.
- Where a wall cannot safely take fixings (for example hollow partitions or damaged plaster), we tell you before drilling and agree the best alternative.
4. Missed appointments
- If you need to change the date, tell us at least one day before. A second visit because nobody was home, or because the windows were not accessible, may be charged at Rs 2,500 within Colombo or at cost outside.
- If we have to change a date, we tell you as soon as we know and there is no charge.
5. After installation
We show you how to operate tracks, blinds and motors before we leave. Care instructions for your fabric are on its page in the designer and on your order page. If anything is not right, tell us within 7 days and we will come back.
